Gas Metal Arc Welding (GMAW) NC II

Gas Metal Arc Welding NC II is one of courses offered by the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority. This the continued program of NCI level. This program will train and teach you on how safety process and procedures application to your work, engineering drawings interpretations, industry calculation application, quality system promotion, proper usage of hand tools and hydraulic tools, welding materials preparation, welding tools equipment, high standard service application, welding tools fitting up procedure,

Course duration (Training time that will be consumed): Gas Metal Arc Welding NC II takes 268 hours to finish.

Requirements to apply as a Course Trainee:

1. Certificate of Birth (NSO copy)
2. 1×1 or 2×2 Photo ID (for record purposes)
3. High School Diploma
4. Police Clearance Certificate
5. Barangay Clearance Certificate
6. Good Moral Character Certificate or Honorable Dismissal
7. You are required to take the Gas Metal Arc Welding NCII level before taking up this course.

You may apply as Gas Metal piper or plate welder in any welding company related to your interest. TESDA will also give you an OJT program to train yourself and have work experience that can be used to work abroad since work experience is a requirement in some POEA registered employer in abroad. (Welding related jobs are in demand worldwide, it also gives good salary)
